Allen Goldenthal
Allen has 23 years experience in vaccine development, preclinical, Quality Control and production. He is currently working as PATH Consultant in China (Chengdu and Wuhan), but has a broad area of expertise including as private consultant in South Africa and China with more than 7 years of project management experience, preclinical toxicologist, medical technologist and biomedical statistician, and serving as consultant to the Scott Committee, New Zealand.
He has business administration and management skills at Master’s level, is a certified QMS auditor with expertise in GLP/GMP establishment, integration and operations, has designed and implemented validation testing, an innovator of test development solutions for new products and is highly computer literate in Microsoft programs.
Furthermore, he is a former Associate Professor, teaching GLP Principles and QA in Doctorate Programs, and has 32 years’ experience as a licensed veterinary practitioner and surgeon, 22 years of combined administrative and research experience, 22 years involvement in biopharmaceutical, in-vivo testing and animal management and 17 years of management at either Director’s or CEO’s level of authority.
Allen has managed simultaneous multiple projects with strict adherence to time and budget constraints, has expertise in QC testing and validation of test models and neurovirulence testing and is a serum fractionation and serum product production expert.
He is an international lecturer, presenter and public speaker, serving 6 years as Senior Lecturer at Massey University and UCOL.
Allen is adept at handling discretionary and sensitive business issues and skilled at leading and working within team environments. He is qualified to work in England, Canada, the United States, Australia and New Zealand through citizenship, qualified to work in China by means of a visa permit and the Pacific Rim Countries through APEC.
He holds both Canadian and New Zealand citizenship and speaks English, French and rudimentary German; also, he is currently studying Mandarin.
